Identify receiving, production, packaging, finished-goods and support areas. Record suspected pests in each area to prepare the survey brief.

Identify the technical or quality contact, access times and entry rules. Explain requirements for protecting products, equipment and people.

Send any required document list in advance. Using a pest control service does not automatically mean passing an audit or obtaining certification.
